It is with sadness that the passing of Rose Marie (DeMarais) Motycka (Pigeon, Michigan) is shared. Rose, born on March 4, 1936, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Jim DeMarais; her daughter Annette DeMarais; her great grandchild Lara DeMarais; her son-in-law Brad Beachy; and her siblings, Barbara Strong, Joanne Guza, Michael Guza, Donald Guza and Ronald Guza.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Motycka; her siblings, David Guza (Carolyn) and Alberta Hazelrigs (Jerry); her children, Michelle DeMarais (Dan Burns), Patty DeMarais (Brian King), Marty DeMarais (Rene Shaw), Denise Beachy, David DeMarais (Chasely Paul), John DeMarais (Allison Parker) and Tammy Motycka; her grandchildren, Braden Beachy (Roxanne), Samantha Nelson (Clay), Paul Borst (Jessica), Nicole DeMarais, Allison Beachy, Kemp DeMarais (Meriem), Mitchell Borst, Jacob Beachy (Jordan), Julia King and Jeremy King; and her great grandchildren, Annika Beachy, Kai Borst, Knox Nelson, Bri Borst and Cal Beachy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (St. Roch Church) (6253 Main St, Caseville, MI 48725).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Detroit Children's Hospital Cancer Research (https://childrensfoundation.fcsuite.com).
