He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Heilig and Francis Heilig (Kesterke). He is survived by: his children, Josh Heilig, Chris Heilig (Cassie) and Erin Fritz (Patrick); his grandchildren, Kameron VanValkenburgh, Dallas Heilig, Leighton Fritz and Madelyn Fritz; and his brothers, Randy Heilig (Sue) and Tony Heilig (Deb). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
