He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Hessell and Evelyn Hessell; his son Martin; his daughter-in-law Sherry Hessell; and his brothers, Don Hessell and Robert "Bobby" Hessell.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Prindle; his grandchildren, Angela Hessell and Martin Hessell II; his great grandchild AJ Ramirez; and his sister Karen Kelly (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (6253 Main St, Caseville, MI 48725). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
