It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Hoard (Pinckney, Michigan), who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude C. Hoard and Gertrude N. Hoard (Barbour); his former wife Nancy Hoard; and his brothers, Allan, Dean and Clinton.
He is survived by: his wife Chris Hoard; his stepchildren, Elizabeth Hoban (John), Jeff Hoard and Tracy Ortlieb (Andrew); his siblings, Nila Whitehead, Vernon Hoard (Irene) and Stanley Hoard (Kathlene); his grandchildren, Zachery Hoard (Vanessa), J. Patrick Hoban, Jacob Ortlieb (Becky), Michelle Hoban, Elijah Hoard, Max Ortlieb and Angelina Hoban; his great grandchild Raven; his sisters-in-law, Katie Hoard and Mary Hoard; his stepson Michael Fesl; his stepgranddaughters, Amelia and Emma; his stepson Adam Fesl (Elizabeth); and his stepgrandchildren, Evelyn, Joseph and Nathan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
