He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Temple Merchant and Dorothy Marie Merchant (Beatty); his niece Christy Keefer; and his sister Marilyn Keefer. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Merchant (Jennie) and David Merchant (Valyn); his grandchildren, Sarah Everett, Emma Everett, Jill Everett and Patrick Everett; his cousin Angela Connor (Michael); and his friend Chris Carlson (Belden). He is also survived by his sons' friends, wives, and children.
In celebration of Bill's life, flowers are welcome, or donations can be made to North Star Reach or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
