Adele J. Waddle Obituary
Adele J. Waddle, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at Bickford of Midland, at the age of 94. Born on May 20, 1931, in Lansing, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of the late Merritt and Francelia (Smith) Hineline. Adele's gentle spirit and unwavering strength were a testament to the loving home in which she was raised.
After completing her education, Adele embarked on a journey of love and commitment by marrying Wayne S. Davis. Their union was blessed with two devoted children, Timothy Scott Davis and Marie A. Davis. Following Wayne's passing, Adele found love once more and married Bobby Waddle in 1977. Although their time together was brief due to Bobby's passing in 1978, their love left an indelible mark on her heart. Adele was a loving stepmother to Rick (Debbie) Waddle and was preceded in death by several stepchildren and half-sisters, all of whom she held dear.
Adele's professional life was marked by her tenure at Magline and Peoples National Bank in Pinconning, where she was respected for her diligence and warmth. Her commitment to her community was evident through her active involvement in both the Pinconning Bible Baptist and Pinconning Wesleyan Churches. Even as her health began to weaken, Adele's dedication to her faith and her community remained steadfast.
Those who knew Adele will fondly remember her passion for the outdoors. She found solace and joy in working in her yard, embracing the beauty of nature, and the simple pleasures it provided. Adele's love for the natural world was a reflection of her own inner grace and serenity.
Funeral service will be held at 5 pm at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Pinconning Chapel with Mr. Jon Moreno presiding with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing with her parents. Family will greet family and friends on Thursday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers to the Pinconning Area Food Pantry in her memory.
