On June 13, 1969, he married the love of his life, Linda Cloutier, in Bay City, Michigan. Together they shared 57 beautiful years of marriage filled with love, commitment, and countless memories. His strong work ethic and dependable nature earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. He, was the kind of man who showed up, did his job well, and left a positive impression on the people around him.

In his personal life, Gary found joy in simple but meaningful interests. He loved to read, and reading was more than a pastime for him. It was a pleasure that gave him knowledge and satisfaction. His curious mind and thoughtful nature made him a fascinating person to talk with, and his sense of humor brought warmth and laughter to many. He had a way of brightening the lives of those around him simply by being himself.

Gary also found joy in the outdoors. He enjoyed watching the critters running around the woods and loved spending time four wheeling in the woods.
