He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Seitz and Adelia Seitz. He is survived by : his wife Verna Seitz; his children, Sharon Kozlowski (George), Lynne Krogsrud (Matthew) and Aaron Seitz (Laura); and his grandchildren, Gary Kozlowski (Kelsey), Cline Kozlowski (Nicole), Jaclyn Chartier (Ethan), A. J. and Mark Seitz. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toni and Trish Hospice House in Auburn, MI, and the Lions Club.
