Julie Ann Johnson, a beacon of kindness and selflessness, whose faith-filled heart guided her through life's journey, passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on February 14, 1975, in Bay City, Michigan, to her late parents Robert and Carol (Cousineau) Johnson, Julie's life was a tapestry of love, family, and unwavering faith. She took her last breath in Harrison, Michigan, next to her husband, the man she loved the most.
Julie's story is one of true love and partnership. She married the love of her life, Michael, in Standish, Michigan, and together they built a life rich with laughter and joy. Michael remains to honor her memory, alongside their beloved children, Dalaney (Faith) Hyatt and Krystal (Tyler) Elsey, and the grandchildren she adored, Madilynn, Ivory, and Adrianna. Julie was a sister and friend, held dear by her siblings, Patrick (Rhonda) Johnson, Marilyn (Andrew) Augustine, and Carolyn (Glenn) Greif, who will miss her gentle presence and warm embrace.
Her work life included dedicated service at Bath and Body Works until she became disabled. Despite challenges, Julie's spirit never wavered, and she continued to inspire those around her with her resilience and positive outlook.
Julie's passion extended beyond her professional endeavors to her interests and hobbies. An avid reader, she found solace and adventure within the pages of her favorite books. Nature was Julie's sanctuary, and she found joy in spending time outdoors, appreciating the beauty and serenity of the natural world.
Her commitment to her faith was unwavering, and as a devoted member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Pinconning, she found strength and community. Julie's church family was a cornerstone of her life, and her faith was the compass that guided her through every season.
Nothing brought Julie more happiness than the festive cheer of Christmas. Her spirit was infectious, and if it were up to her, the Christmas tree would stand tall all year, a symbol of the joy and love she carried in her heart.
Above all, family was Julie's greatest treasure. She relished in the moments spent with her loved ones, and her legacy is one of unconditional love and the selfless acts of kindness she bestowed upon those fortunate enough to have known her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 12 noon from the Apostolic Lighthouse Church located at 3836 N. Huron Rd Pinconning, Michigan with Pastor Patrick Johnson presiding. Friends may visit at the church on Saturday, from 11 am until 2 pm. Service will be held at 12 noon. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel.
