Rosemary J. "Rosie" Miller, age 99, of Pinconning, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at her home with her daughter Kathy at her side.
Rosie was born on April 21, 1927, in Pinconning, Michigan, to Floyd and Mabel (Bowen) Dunnigan. She attended and graduated from St. Michael's School, and she carried the values of faith, family, and hard work throughout her long life. On April 12, 1947, she married the love of her life, Arnold Miller, in Pinconning. Together they began building a family and a life filled with devotion, laughter, and enduring love.
Family was the center of Rosie's world, and she poured her heart into every role she held. She was a loving, faithful, and gentle woman whose kindness touched everyone around her. She especially cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and she found great joy in gathering her loved ones together. Rosie is survived by her children Fred Miller and his wife Rita, Patti Karbowski, Marilyn Sabo, Jeannine Nagy, Marty Schman, Dave Rajewski, Jim Miller, and Kathy Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren Fred Miller Jr., Aileen and Pat Brady, Alisha and Darryl Yenna, Becky and Dan Rabish, Rachelle and Paul Swart, Jeremy and Billy Adams, Dylan Nagy, Corey Schman, Tyler Schman, Melissa and Benjamin Ramsay, and Cody Rajewski. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren Garrett and Hayden Brady, Morgan, Keegan, Kylea, and Kolten Yenna, Garrett Rabish, Ashlyn and Brayden Swart, and Payton and Parker Ramsay. She also leaves behind her special friend, Russell Dupuis.
Rosie's home was a place where family and faith came together in the best possible way. She loved hosting big family gatherings filled with food, card playing, and laughter, and those times became treasured memories for all who were fortunate enough to share them. She enjoyed reading, traveling, attending church, and taking trips to the casino, but above all else, she treasured the simple blessings of life and the company of those she loved. Her Christian faith guided her through every season of life and gave her strength, comfort, and peace.
She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold; her son Gary Miller; her daughters JoAnn Schman and Judy Rajewski; and her granddaughter Sherry Sabo; son-in-Laws Raymond Sabo and Larry Nagy. She outlived all her brothers and sisters. Though her family grieves her passing, they take comfort in the many years of love, wisdom, and example she shared with them. Rosie's life was one of grace, devotion, and quiet strength, and her memory will remain a lasting source of comfort to those who knew and loved her.
Rosie will be remembered for her warm smile, her gentle spirit, and the unwavering love she gave so freely to her family. Her life was a beautiful reflection of faith, kindness, and the deep bonds of family. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her.

Funeral mass will be on Friday August 21, 2026, at Holy Trinity – St. Michael's at 12 Noon with Fr. Homic presiding with private burial at St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10am until time of mass.
