Beatrice A. Gauthier Obituary
We announce the death of Beatrice A. Gauthier in Plainwell, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Beatrice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Barber and Helen Barber (Thompson); her husband George Gauthier; her close friend Jim Endres; and her siblings, Gerald Barber, Lucille Woodhams, Lillian Stull, Doris Schuitaboer, Mildred Walker, Lawrence Barber, Marge Gilligan and Bev Gauthier.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Steele of Plainwell, Bev Meert (Bob) of Hopkins, Dawn Richmond (Eric Isaacsen) of Arizona, Gail Chappell (David) of Plainwell and George Gauthier (Robin) of Plainwell; and her sister-in-law Yvonne Gauthier. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Lake Doster County Club (116 Country Club Blvd, Plainwell, MI 49080).
