She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Brown and Susana Brown (Woyak); her former husbands, George Higgins and Bill Rethard; her husband Harry Marlatt; her sons, George Higgins and Fredrick Higgins; her daughters-in-law, Helen Higgins and Claire Higgins; and her siblings, Jim and Esther. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Avink McCowen & Secord Funeral Home (120 S Woodhams St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery (825 M-89, Plainwell, MI 49080).
