We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Eleanor DeKoekkoek (Plainwell, Michigan). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Triezenberg and Hattie Triezenberg; her children, Pamela, Patricia and Kenneth; and her siblings, Nelly Kloosterman, John Triezenberg, Frank Triezenberg, Elaine Triezenberg and Lois Gunnink.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph DeKoekkoek; her sons, Daniel DeKoekkoek (Carol), Ronald DeKoekkoek (Cheryl), Kevin DeKoekkoek (Sue) and Joel DeKoekkoek (Sandy); and her siblings, Harold Triezenberg (Phyllis) and Patti Blok (Pete). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avink McCowen Secord Funeral Home (120 S Woodhams St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the East Martin Christian Reformed Church (1782 5th St, Martin, MI 49070).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Martin Christian Schools, an institution close to Eleanor's heart, or East Martin Christian Reformed Church.
