It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jacob Sybesma (Plainwell, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 94, on June 23, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jacob leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Geertje Siebesma (Ettema) and Jake; and his siblings, Geertje and Mike. He is survived by: his children, Susan Geyer (Steve), Hilbrand Sybesma (Rhonda) and Michael Sybesma (Connie Pierce). He is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home (120 S Woodhams St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Martin Reformed Church (1073 W Allegan St, Martin, MI 49070).
