She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyrus Grinage and Jeanne Grinage (Irwin); her husband Henry Richard VanderPloeg; her son Henry Richard VanderPloeg II; her children-in-law, Barbara Ann DeCamp-VanderPloeg and Lawrence "Larry" Truax Jr.; and her brothers, Larry, William, David Scott and Leon Grinage.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Truax and Darcia Artz (John); her brothers, Les and Cleon Grinage (LeeAnn); her sister-in-law Cathy Grinage (Larry); and her grandchildren, Alexandria Truax, Courtney McGlathery (Bret), Cy Truax, Hillary Hall (Kevin), John Frederick Artz and Kaleigh Drake (Mark). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
