She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Hayes and Margaret Babbitt; her husband Paul Boysen; her children, Kim Ortega (Stevenson), John Boysen and Todd Boysen; her stepfather William Pearson; her sister Betty; and her brother-in-law Burl Sparks.
She is survived by: her children, Toni McDonald (Jim), Michelle Wesaw and Scott Boysen (Melissa); her children-in-law, Chris Ortega and Cheryl Boysen; and her grandchildren, Khett Stevenson, Cameron Stevenson (Amanda), Trevor Stevenson, Ryan Boysen, Jennifer Murray, Casey Johnson (Dan), Nikki Arrendondo, Melanie Boysen and Jessica Stevenson. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Avink, McCowen & Secord Funeral Home and Cremation Society (120 S Woodhams St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
