He was predeceased by : his parents, Sidney Perkins and Dorothy Perkins; and his siblings, Esther Taylor, Sidney G. Perkins Jr., William J Perkins and Mary Ann Perkins.

He is survived by : his daughters, Ashley Kay Perkins and Haley Noland Perkins; his wife Susan Kay Mejeur; and his sister Patty Richardson (Rex). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
