As Sharron departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sharron. Though Sharron may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her children, Alan and Julie; and her grandson Alex French. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Martens (Nathan) of Galesburg and Tony Wetherbee (Sarah) of Zeigler, Illinois; and her siblings, Tammie VanAvery and Marc Laning (Kayla). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (303 E Bridge St, Plainwell, MI 49080). A reception will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials to the Animal Rescue Project or Centrica Hospice would be appreciated.
