She was predeceased by : her husband Donald H. Gillis; her parents, James Greig and Catherine "Polly" Greig; and her sister Laurelyn. She is survived by : her sons, Laurence, James (Mazy) and David (Annette); her grandsons, Maxwell and James; and her niece Dorothy.

Memorial tributes can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or the Pleasant Ridge Foundation.
