It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary W. Gathen of Pleasant Ridge, Michigan, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary W. Gathen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gathen and Elizabeth Gathen; and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Weiss Gathen; his children, Gary William Gathen Jr. (Suzette) and Kaylie Lochner; his grandchildren, Erin Gathen, Griffin Gathen and Jason Lochner; and his nieces, Patricia Westergaard and Michelle Abbot.
