He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Beatrice Thomas (Smith); and his siblings, Catherine Hemeyer, Mildred Hamlin, William Thomas, Marlyn Gilbert, Robert Thomas and Earl Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Sexton; his children, Ann Battersby (Ed), Tim Thomas (Mary Lynn), Brian Thomas (Jane), Mary Fulton (Thames) and Colleen Dewan (Kevin); his grandchildren, Helen Carlisle (Josh), Brian Battersby (Colleen), Ryan Thomas, Patty Jacob (Noah), Austin Thomas (Bean), Veronica Ebbing (Johnny), Molly Slaughter (Ethan), Will Fulton, Gabi Thomas, Ellie Thomas, Delia Fulton, Bridgette Thomas, Pat Dewan, Grace Dewan, Mary Dewan and Rubye Fulton; and his great grandchildren, Tony Carlisle, Maureen Battersby, Patrick Battersby and Thomas Carlisle.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church (133 Orchard Dr, Northville, MI 48167).
