He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bardeleben and Mildred Bardeleben; his children, Steven and Megan; and his sisters, Marcy and Kate.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jennifer (Scott), Michele (Jeff) and Jim (Kristen); his grandsons, Nicklas, Eric, Jacob and Cash; and his brother Gerard (Rosemary). He is also survived by his family, friends.
