With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia Peratsakis of Plymouth, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Julia may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete George and Jennie George; and her sister Anna. She is survived by: her children, Dean Peratsakis (Christina) and Maria Wright; and her grandchildren, Kyle and Alexander Wright.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (36375 Joy Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Constantine and Helen Church - Westland (36375 Joy Rd, Westland, MI 48185).
