He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Carty and Mary Jane Carty. He is survived by: his sisters, Peggy and Mary (Chris); his wife Debbie; his sisters, Judy (Ed) and Maureen (Stan); his children, Sean (Kim), Wendy (Rob) and Katie (Bryan); his grandchildren, Michael, Daniel (Hannah), Meghan, Nia, Devin and Fox; and his close friend Debbie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home (280 S Main St, Plymouth, MI 48170). A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Edith Catholic Church (15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154).
