He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Kennedy and Marie Scherer Kennedy; and his brother Christopher Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Hugh Kennedy (Nicole Michaud), Orin Kennedy (Megan McLaughlin), Monica Kennedy (Rachel Freund), Heather Johnson (Jason) and Lauren Yagiela (Spencer Schroer); his grandchildren, Cleophee, Aidan, Caitlin, Claire, Avery, Elliot, Zachary and Carter; his siblings, Alexis Blomfield (Steven), Timothy Kennedy (Kimberly) and Dennis Kennedy; his nephews, Joseph Kennedy and Douglas Blomfield; his niece Pamela Medjesi (Adam); and his friend Judy Wernette. He is also survived by three children, and was a doting grandfather to his eight grandchildren.
