She was predeceased by: her children, Michael Hardie, Gregory Hardie, Shelia Ann Hardie and Anthony Ray Hardie; her granddaughter Mia Pittman; her parents, Robert Lee Ervin and Frances Ann Kelly; and her siblings, William Earl Ervin, Sr., Vivian Rone, Margaret Mitchell, Michael Smith, Gwendolyn Sconion, Barbara Ervin, Gary Ervin, Morris Ervin and Larry Ervin.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon D. Ervin, John Henry Hardie, III, Leslie Lisa Hollins (Jessie) and Rena Brown; her brothers, Robert Lee Ervin, Jr. and Donald Ervin; her daughters, Julia White and Justina Fowlkes; and her close friends, Lottie Bowman, Mary Edwards and Anna Turner. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
