We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2026, at the age of 86, Eursa Hardie in Pontiac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Michael Hardie, Gregory Hardie, Shelia Ann Hardie and Anthony Ray Hardie; her granddaughter Mia Pittman; her parents, Robert Lee Ervin and Frances Anna Woods; and her siblings, William Earl Ervin, Sr., Vivian Rone, Margaret Mitchell, Michael Smith, Gwendolyn Sconion, Barbara Ervin, Gary Ervin, Morris Ervin and Larry Ervin.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon D. Ervin, John Henry Hardie, III, Leslie Lisa Hollins (Jessie) and Rena Brown; her brothers, Robert Lee Ervin, Jr. and Donald Ervin; her daughters, Julia White and Justina Fowlkes; and her close friends, Lottie Bowman, Mary Edwards and Anna Turner. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church (512 Pearsall Ave, Pontiac, MI 48341).
