With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Willie Cooper of Pontiac, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cooper and Annie Laura Cooper; and his son Gary Cooper, Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Ruby Cooper; and his children, Roy, Paul, Mitzi and Debbie. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cobb's Funeral Home (151 Orchard Lake Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
