He was predeceased by: his parents, Lodee Jenkins and Neal Jenkins; his siblings, Brenda Jenkins, Carol Payton (Freddie), Diana White (Wayne), Linda J. Johnson, Donald and Michael Jenkins; his siblings' children, Maulana McMillen, Wendy Jenkins and Charlie Johnson, Jr.; his significant other Jonia Pearl Dunlap; and his brother-in-law Charles Lowe, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Dunlap Dunlap (Karven), Gary, Gregory Dunlap (Roshelle), Rickey Dunlap, Collett Dunlap, Elaine Galloway and Jasmine Jackson; his grandchildren, Monique Williams, Erika, Jessica Galloway, Quanequa Dunlap, Parris Griffin, Donovan Hayward, Jeremiah Jackson, Jacob Midgett and Dequavay Wellons; his siblings, Janice Williams (Gregory), Beverly Harris, Sandra Benford (Charles), Elliott Jenkins and Charles Jenkins; his niece Kim "Kimmie" Jenkins; and his cousin Patricia Strickland Watts.
