He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Steinbach and Blanche Cooley (Rochon); and his siblings, Carole Heichel (Carl), Louise Campbell, John Steinbach (Jan), Margaret DeGroff (Steinbach), William Steinbach, Elizabeth Bradford (Ryan) and Heidi Diehm (Daniel).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Preston Bradford, Gage Steinbach and Katie Steinbach; and his close friend Debbie Evan.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (814 W Nepessing St, Lapeer, MI 48446). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
