She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert LaGrone and Rosie LaGrone; her stepfather Herman Hudson; her siblings, Johnnie Hudson, Patricia Hudson, Diane Hudson, Karen Potlow and Shirley Hannah; and her nephews, Henry Jamison and Alonzo Jamison, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Devin Hudson, Alonzo Hudson, Deirdre Sullivan and Henry Sayles; her grandchildren, Devin Hudson, Jr., Kamiel Hudson, Alonzo Hudson, Jr., KeWaun Hudson, Amasi Hudson, Davon Hudson, Constance Sayles, Autumn Sayles and Ala'Iya Hudson; her siblings, Minnie Lee Jamison, Nettie LaGrone, Dinky McGee, Ralph McMorris, Roy Hudson, Gary Hudson, Kim Hudson, James Potlow and Gregory Hudson; and her stepmother Mary Hudson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
