He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Daryl Massey, Sr. and Portia Carter; his grandchildren, Tierra, Destenee, Jeniah and Daryl Massey, Jr.; his mother Thelma Carter; his sisters, Linda Hall and Kathleen Andrich; his father William J. Carter; his father-in-law Otis Massey; and his nephew Anthony Hall.
