He is survived by: his wife Fran (Smolnick); his children, Rabbi David Fine (Beth), Robert Fine (Betsy) and Sharon Fine (Lloyd Alpert); his nieces and nephews, Ilene Filipiak (Ken), Alan Ellis (Marianne), Rona Smith and Gary Smith; his grandchildren, Rabbi Avi (Erin), Naomi, Sydney and Abbi; his great grandchild Maya; and his father-in-law Samuel Smolnick.
