He is survived by: his children, Henry Elam (Jessamine) and Nicole Giles; his grandchildren, Jahmari Cooper, Jaylin Copper, Londyn Elam and Jahir Elam; his mother Doris Leonard; his sisters, Nina McClendon (James) and Doris Adams (Louis); and his cousin Roderick Owens. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
