We bid farewell to Janet Lavon Turner (Pontiac, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Janet Lavon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Baylor and Arthur Branner; her stepfather Paul Baylor Sr.; her grandmother Anna Harris; and her brothers, Arthur Branner and Joseph Branner.
She is survived by: her daughter Tasha Turner; her granddaughter Tamara Alexander; her great grandchild Alana Alexander; her siblings, Linda Walker (Larry), Pauline Rasheed (Abdul-Malik), Paul Baylor Jr., Timothy Baylor (Joanne), Spencer Baylor, Audrey Branner, Carl Branner (Barbara), Ritchie Branner (Yolanda) and Isaiah Branner; her sisters-in-law, Annette Leonard and Sandra Turner; her aunt Nomi Cobb; and her close friends, Peggy Hardiman, Brenda Street, Carol Tucker and Evangline Fortier. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John United Methodist Church (620 University Dr, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
