He is survived by: his children, Joseph Cooper, Corey Cooper, Derrick Tatum and Josh; his siblings, Ruth Horn (Paul), Annette Riley, James Cooper, Jr. (Gloria), Lottie Mae Jordan, Naomi Cooper, Marilyn Whitley (Bernard), Willette Faison, Wilbert Cooper (Wanda), Jerome Cooper, Gerald Cooper and Clareatha Woods; his mother-in-law Mary Tatum; and his friends, Tony Gardner and Carl. He is also survived by grandchildren; host of great grandchildren.
