He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Jenkins; his parents, Herbert Jenkins and Acey Jenkins; his son Kenneth Jenkins; his siblings, Harrel Jenkins, Farrel Jenkins, Humilton Jenkins, Ruth Jenkins, Lilian Jefferson and Helen Ratcliff; and his granddaughter Charnae Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Simpson (Anthony) of Pontiac, MI and Rodney Jenkins, Sr. of Pontiac, MI.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (318 Auburn Ave, Pontiac, MI 48341).
