She is survived by: her children, Nicole and Dr. Garfield Johnson III (Jakeen); her grandchildren, Graham and Gracie; and her sisters, Alma Ruth Thomas, Dorothy Fontenette (Roland) and Emma Lee Murphy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, goddaughters, relatives, and friends.
A prayer was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Newman A. M. E. Church (233 Bagley St, Pontiac, MI 48341). Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
