He is survived by: his wife Evangelist Avie Nell Carr of Pontiac, Michigan; his children, Sonia Cowart (Kevisi) of Glenn Heights, Lonell Carr (Barbara) of Douglasville, Georgia and Denisha Williams (James) of Pontiac, Michigan; his grandchildren, Jamesha (Linell), Lonell Jr. (Kristen), Jashara, Kanique, Reginald Jr. (Victoria), O'Shun, Makiah, Anissa (John), Kierra, Dacarell, Breia, Jazzinique, Ke'Yanni, Jamad and Serenity; his great grandchildren, Ja'Nella, Morgan, Jayde, Amia, Isabella, Harper, Skylar, Brailynn, Justice, Brooklynn, Ava, Boston and Yohanna; his daughters, Bridgette Carr and Dy'ma Cowart; his siblings, W. J. Bishop (Margie), Geneva Howard (Jules), Herman Bishop, Prince Albert Carr (Mildred) and Arcell Bishop; and his sisters-in-law, Verna Mae Carr and Prestte'Carr.
