She is survived by: her grandchildren, Angela Manning, Clavern Tyson-Bey, Jr., Nitra Tyson-Bey, Dante Tyson-Bey (Rosalind), Jamal Tyson-Bey, Sakara Tyson-Bey, Myron Tyson-Bey and Julia Weatherspoon; her siblings, Lillian Whiters and Calvin Mullen (Burdelle); and her close friend Alma. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
