He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Sorgi and Jenni Sorgi; and his siblings, Joseph Sorgi and Loretta Torres. He is survived by: his children, Richard Sorgi Jr. (Patti), John Sorgi, Angela Sorgi and Linda Gunthner; his grandchildren, Cristina, Rich III, Johnella, Erin, Evan, Dominique and Carnell; his great grandchildren, Kamari, Richard IV, Faith Ann, Evalise, Vincent, Jeremiah, Jordan, Kamyah, Juelz and Bella; and his brother Angelo Sorgi.
