She was predeceased by: her parent Rosie Hicks (Rochelle); her husband Robert Hicks; her daughter Annie Joyner; and her grandson James Joyner. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Heather Randolph of Pontiac, MI and Cedric Randolph of Jackson.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church (250 Fisher Ave, Pontiac, MI 48341).
