She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Tipton and Mary Lash; her grandson Calvin Seay, Jr.; her sibling's children, Monique "DeDe" Tipton and Charles "Baldy" Manning; and her brother Terry Lash.
She is survived by: her children, John Tipton, Calvin "Spoolie" Seay, Sr., Carlos "Crokey" Tipton and Amey Tipton; and her siblings, Jimmie Harrison, Dorothy Dilworth, Margaret Dillahunty and Bennie Lash. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home (268 North Perry St, Pontiac, MI 48342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church (143 Oneida St, Pontiac, MI 48341-1626).
