She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schumacher and Mary Schumacher (Schmitz); her husband Melvin Winkel; her siblings, Mike Schumacher, Larry Schumacher, Bobbie Schumacher and Marlene Schumacher; her sister-in-law Mary Schumacher; her parents-in-law, Irvin and Genevieve Winkel; her siblings-in-law, Earl Braun and Ilene Parrish (Bob); her nephews, Bruce Parrish and Chad Schumacher; and her niece Janet Braun.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Winkel (Kim) of Ubly, Pauline Guigar (David) of Cass City, Margie Poppeck (David) of Port Hope, Lori Mazure (Lauren) of Harbor Beach, Brenda Taylor (Tom Peyerk) of Filion and Carol Abella (Manuel) of Menifee; and her siblings, Leonard Jr. Schumacher (Myrt), Donald Schumacher (Betty), Steve Schumacher, JoAnne Zdrojewski, Mary Lou Wichert (Tom), Shirley Braun, Robert Winkel (Jean) and Jerry Winkel (Evelyn). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren.
