He is survived by: his former wife Alice Comfort; his sons, Kirk L. Comfort and Harlan Comfort (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Katherine Hill (Robert) and Jake Comfort (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Levi Hill, Cassidy Comfort, Lilly Hill, Jaxon Comfort and Luke Hill; his stepchildren, Donald Samson and Annette Sampson; and his sister Maryann Stockwell. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
