He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduard Bachmann and Anna Bachmann; his children, Teresa Good-Schrader and Marty Bachmann; and his brother Johannes Bachmann.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Presswood (Dan) and Eduard Bachmann; his grandchildren, Rebecca Lumetta (Mike), Jack Presswood (Kelly), Katie Klieman and Michael Bachmann; his sister Anna Komph (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Bachmann, Jack Smith (Nancy) and James Smith (Bonnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
