He was predeceased by: his father Ambrosio Puente; and his brothers, Roberto Puente and Jesus Pena. He is survived by: his son Ambosio Puente (Chandra); his grandchildren, Hannah and Jude; his sister Santa Bowen (Ray); and his fiancée Brenda Dafoe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
