She was predeceased by: her parents, John Long and Alice Long; her son Bob Cook; her great grandchild Dakota Weiss; and her brothers, Wilson and Ira Long.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald Cook; her children, Ron Cook (Sue), Randy Cook (Donna), Pat Roe (Nelson), John Cook (Courtney) and Kim Askew (Tom); her daughter-in-law Patty Cook; her grandchildren, Christopher Cook (Laura), Nicole Tharrett (Dave), John Cook (Carrie), Sarah David (Doug), Jeff Cook (Alana), Heather Woodman (Mike), Joe Cook-Shugart (Erica), Jessica Roe (Aaron Russell), Danielle Fergin (Ben), Lindsey Aguilera (Saul), Magen Askew, Amanda Rewa (Tyler), Melanie Askew, Rachael Ross (Mike), Emily Miller (Paul) and Jeremy Cook (Caiti); her siblings, Johnny Long, Henry Long and Virginia Overy; and her sister-in-law Judith Cook. She is also survived by 34 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
