He was predeceased by: his parents, James Provost and Evelyn Provost; his siblings, Danny Provost, Ronald Provost, Larry Provost (Ethel), Linda Gorrell (James), Brenda Ross and Mary Jane Provost; his parents-in-law, Herb and Vonda Struthers; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Gracey and Gail Provost.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Struthers; his sons, Barry Jr. Provost (Heather), Wayne Provost (Carmilla Roll) and Dan Provost; his grandchildren, Barry, Cathleen, Wayne and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Kaiser, Vivian, Jaymee, Lucas, Kamilla, Liam and Abigail; and his siblings, Carol Gracey and Joe Provost.
