He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlos G. Spigner and Juanita Spigner; his grandmother Sadie McArthur (Sim); and his sister Carol Spigner. He is survived by : his sons, Carlos Lee Ellis (Melissa) and Devin Dinkins; his siblings, Raymond Woods, Douglas Spigner, Sanita Woods, Jennifer Hayden (William), Jacqueline Spigner Howell and Marcellina Angell (Michael); his grandchildren, Dominic Schulz (Alexis), Imani Ellis, Casim Ellis, Amari Ellis, Justin Hibbard, Jordan Dinkins, Jasmine Dinkins and Jaylen Dinkins; his great grandchildren, Zion, Khi and Tessa Schultz; his goddaughter Brittney Barber Russell; his niece Madison Woods; his nephew Raymond Woods IV; and his caregivers, Jennifer Wilson of Relevar Homecare and Emily Pedri. He is also survived by nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 4:00 PM at the Lakeside Cemetery (3663 10th Ave, Port Huron, MI 48060).
