She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy "Chick" McCarty and Helen McCarty; her brother Bob McCarty; and her sister-in-law Muffy Rike (McCarty). She is survived by: her daughter Rachael Johnsick; her grandsons, Jake and Sam Johnsick; and her sister Barbara Schmidt (John). She is also survived by nephew; and several nieces.
